When this fight was first talked about, I only saw it going one way, 18 months later i was 50-50 but now am giving the edge to Canelo. Hopefully the bookies has GGG the favourite, but the bookies aren't ******... They had spence the favourite when i thought they wouldn't.

No need to be hopeful, as it stands now they have GGG as the favorite and i believe, rightfully so.

That is an extremely long camp. I Wonder if anyone can inform if this is usual for Canelo?

Wow someone's team is nervous. He just fought in the beginning of the month, so why TF would he need to start training again so soon? If he had to come back down to 154 maybe I could see, but that's not the case.

Maybe they never heard of over-training. That'd be the worst thing Canelo could do for this fight. GGG is 35 years old and only does 8 weeks of camp.

I do remember Floyd doing a couple 3 month camps late in his career though..but he was like 37+ and said he did it because he was older now so he needed to get up sooner than before.

bookies dont care about any of that , bet365 are not hiring the top boxing predictors , they balance the betting by moving the line and making money on the "vig" , a good bookie does not rely on his knowledge of the sport as much about balancing his book , if spence was the big fav it means ppl put money on him and the bookie gave him **** odds so ppl will want to put money on Brook to balance it out , the ideal book for a bet is a 50/50 money on bot sides , that way the bookie pay the winners with the loser money and take the vig for himself.
picking winners is NOT how bookies make a living , it might be how a small time bookie from the street is doing it , but surely not the big boyz.

Canelo officially started training for the chavez fight in feb so June would be the same thing. But they talking light training so my guess is he is not going hard until July when they move to LA. That's the real training camp

"We are already training, running, and we'll go to Los Angeles in the month of July. We will be there for all of July, August and from there that will take us to September," said Reynoso to ESPN Deportes.
