C'mon guys don't get excited. Floyd has been talking up Canelo ever since Haymon and Slick Rick failed at putting GBP out of business. He wants to sign him cuz he knows he's a cash cow, the only one left. If he really believes what he's saying he would place the bet on Canelo to win by KO (better odds) and post it on Twitter. Or maybe he only does that when he wins a big bet. Canelo does not have the power to KO GGG. He couldn't even get Jr. out of there and he's been TKO'd before.

Floyd helping to promote Canelo while Oscar is writing letters. Floyd has been saying for a while that Canelo will win while everybody else was saying GGG will destroy him. Now it's become sexy to pick Canelo after GGG has looked mediocre against a welterweight and a B level fighter. GGG's style is Taylor made for Canelo. Slow and flat footed. Canelo's problems came against mobile fighters.

Who exactly crowned GGG as a great fighter?? Canelo beats the over rated commie GGG on a decision. GGG is a hype job vastly over rated.

Canelo will school GGG to a easy decision. GGG is simply too phuking slow and has terrible defense. Canelo is a hard target to hit with good head movement and defense. Particular great at slipping and countering jabs. I see Canelo letting GGG come to him and countering and the difference in hand speed will be apparent right away. Hand speed and counter punches will have GGG resetting all night looking like a deer in head lights. GGG has a good chin and can take a lot of abuse so will probably go 12. If anything maybe a mercy stoppage late ala Angulo. Or he will catch GGG with a huge uppercut or counter when GGG is off balance that he doesn't see coming when panic sinks in and he's way down in the fight throwing caution to the wind.

The diva is getting stopped man. GGG will put a beating on her that might end her career.

Floyd doesn't want to fight GGG (and shouldn't), but thinks if Canelo wins he can have a rematch and outpoint him like he did in their first meeting, so he can beat Marciano's record without having to risk much. He'll just dance all night, stick-and-move, and laugh all the way to the bank.

doubt it. at what weight would this rematch be? floyd isn't facing canelo at 155 and canelo is a shot caller now he isn't draining himself for nobody. that rematch never happens canelo is a full fledged middleweight now.

Hopefully these repetitive threads will get interesting when the fight date is actually kind of close. Right now it's a long ways off. I guess people will just repeat the same two arguments over and over till then....
