explain why GGG beating Canelo in 2017 makes floyd beating him in 2013 less meaningful?

in this article, he warn canelo not to fight ggg yet (because he knows canelo will lose if they fight at that time, again making his win over canelo less meaningful). his excuses (let the fight built up). but why does he care how much canelo make? i thought he said fighters today is asking for too much money?

then after ggg look like a human again (after the brook and jacob fight), floyd is now calling out that canelo will ko ggg.

I cant see it but stranger things have happened in boxing and Canelos best shots are body shots so who knows if the right liver shot is delivered. I don't think Canelos feet are quick enough to be able to get around G for 12 rounds and G is bigger and punches too hard, I think GGG will just walk him down.

Mayweather calls it mistakes. GGG calls it fighting.

I feel you. Floyd didn't make many mistakes because he never really let's his hands go and counters most of the fight. So there's less opportunities to hit him.

But in the fights that Floyd open up he has made mistakes and got caught to. Zab Judah, Mitchell, Mosley, De la Hoya all caught Floyd with good punches when he opened up.

GGG let's his hands go so of course he gets caught here and there. Same thing with Spence last weekend. More you let your hands go more chance you can get caught.

He says GGG makes alot of mistakes but GGG had waay more amateur experience than Floyd and is a silver medalist. Safe to say GGG knows what he's doing in the ring and when he can play around an get away with certain things or not

Chavez Jr has the best Chin in the sport. Fonfara couldn't put him down for good and he was bigger then him also too Junior was not engaging and turtles up that plus legendary chin = no KO.

Easy to have a legendary chin when you fight guys you outweigh by 15-20 pounds every fight. Second he fought someone his own size, he was beaten like a donkey for 12 rounds then stopped by Fonfara
