  • will ward entertain versus kovalev?

Boxing is on a roll recently with some great match ups living up to the hype.

Ward v Kovalev is the next big fight weve got to look forward to.

How will ward approach the fight? Will he let his hands go and fight like a man? He has a point to prove after the last fight, with harsh criticism of his performance. Will he come out with a point to prove and fight fire with fire?

Or is it going to be vintage ward i.e negative clinchfest that sucks any enjoyment out of the spectacle for the paying public.

To his credit he fought relatively cleanly in the first fight, do people think he will bring the fouls back for this one?

Hows he going to approach this fight?

I think Ward will provide double the entertainment of most fighters.

He will entertain in the ring. Then when he wins and you and the others in your crew cry and bitch about it, he will be responsible for that entertainment.

I don't see why the gameplan will change. Kov will likely be more wild and press for a KO and get countered and outboxed to a clear win. I had him winning the first fight 114-113 but I see him losing this one 117-111.

judging by the lack of promotions I think the plan is just to go out stink it up and get the W and never look back.

Hell no. Ward doesn't care about "entertaining" the fans, he's there to get that W. If it's ugly, or boring, then so be it. His pay won't decrease for lack of action. He will come to win, and that's all

I swear some fans. Now Ward has to fight the way you want him to fight in order to get recognition?

All he has to do is win. If it's boring then it's boring, if not, then good for us. Either way, I'm looking forward to the fight, may the best man win

He's provided plenty of entertainment already, having been reading all the crying by bytches like yourself on here for close to seven months now.

I doubt Ward will play Tim Bradley but why should he? Styles make fights and if Kovalev wants to impress he needs to focus on longevity.

Ward can fight however he wants if it's effective. It's Kovalev's job to adjust. See what Spence did when Brook tried to clinch? I expect Kovalev to make the adjustment, but, if he does not, he deserves to lose.

Ward is a cautious defensive fighter and he'll fight the way he always does. Their first fight was pretty entertaining and the rematch will probably be similar.

I'm just curious if Ward plans to shoot doubles from round 1? or will he wait till he gets hurt?
