Are you all setting Spence up for a big fall?

Fans should be excited about Spence because he he defeated a more experienced and more respected opponent clearly and cleanly. Fans that like him need to understand most 27 yr old fighters with 22 fights, only one at what I would call "top tier" level, are likely going to need some more work.Yea but you know for some guys they don't see the holes or understand great fighters can lose sometimes or aren't the greatest of all time. I think you're right most of us got reasonable expectations about Spence & where he's at & where he could be at, but know it could all fall about in an instant with a wrong move.
I legit think some cats can't digest that seemingly simple way of looking at things & think Spence is the next great boxer of this era right now & aren't even trolling with some of their comments doe.
Granted most are trolling, but I think this type of W over a guy like Brook gets guys all amped up & championing the new blood in a unrealistic way.Comment

That's 50 percent which means most here did not predict what was going to happen. If you look at the poll on this site most picked Brook to win. So lets not pretend that most were picking Spence jr.Comment

Well that shouldn't be hard to findMy whole homepage is filled with thread after thread saying how Spence would beat Mayweather, Pacquaio, GGG, how he's p4p in the top 5 etc.
Don't you all think that you're setting yourselves up for a big fall?
He did something incredible at the weekend but the amount of hype is a little ridiculous. I read people saying he'd destroy Tommy Hearns the other day.. :|
POST those comments you lying dress-wearing b*tch

Lol, man I get you. I once posted here that Amir Imam was gonna dominate for the next decade or so. I said he would make quick work of Crawford and unify 140 all the way to middle weight (guy is 5'11 and has 73 inch reach), I was on that 5 division champ ish about him, and I said he would outbox and slaughter Spence too.Yea but you know for some guys they don't see the holes or understand great fighters can lose sometimes or aren't the greatest of all time. I think you're right most of us got reasonable expectations about Spence & where he's at & where he could be at, but know it could all fall about in an instant with a wrong move.

In hindsight, maybe it should have even been in foresight, that's gotta be the dumbest thing I ever said.
Guy lost to freakin Granados. It aint even the fact he lost but rather the way he lost. Absolutely no heart whatsoever. Guy is a pusssy man I can't forgive that. Yeah I tease Amir Khan a lot but the guy got heart (inside the ring, outside he a coward who keeps pricing himself out of fights).
Anyway I veering off topic, I get your point man. Spence proved he had heart, insane stamina, and a rock solid chin though, and he is known as someone who shows absolute discipline and dedication to the sport. So I guess people become much bolder about their claims not just coz of his skills but because of his dedication to the craft and his humility.Comment
