Not sure I believe this but it's a good way to get people taking about the fight. I do believe JDJ and Kovalev have their issues based on things Kovalev has said and things Abel said about training Kovalev. But I think JDJ would quit rather than switch teams and play second fiddle to another head trainer

why is this a surprise.. JDJ has been getting disrespected in that camp for years. he only ****** it up for the check. after round one vs. ward he's trying to give kkk instructions and is immediately shut down to let the russian guy speak. it was sad. notice he hasn't given one interview to hype the rematch. not a single peep from him. i can't wait until he's officially separated from kkk and gives his tell all interview. ward should've definitely added him to his camp to further torment kkk and duva.

If he doesn't like working with kovalev, that's fine,he can go and find any other fighter to train, but to attempt to go over to wards side for the rematch? That's some really sleazy ****.
JDJ doesn't owe kkk any loyalty. all kkk has done since losing is blame his trainer.. like a hoe.

Jackson was overruled multiple times by conditioning coach in last fight and was silent for much of the end of the match. Kov was kicked out of Abel sanchez' gym for being a **** too. If I was Jackson at this point I'd take a nice payday to give him water this time too, then bolt after he loses again.

Judging by last fight he's playing second fiddle already. Also pride doesn't pay the bills and it's difficult to turn down thousands of dollars for the likes of Bryant Jennings paydays, which are less.

CoWARD's shady ass team tried to steal Kovalev's coach to cause a disruption before the rematch.....no one is fooled by this story. They got all American judges again, and now this.......and people wonder why coWARD gets no respect, smh. The fraud doesn't deserve respect.

If it's true then Jackson is a little snake & Kovalev should spark him out in training for it.

Damn near non existent since since Jennings hasn't fought since Ortiz. Jackson has picked up more fighters. But if he pulled something like this off do you think other fighters would trust him? Just seems weird he would go to the opposite team.

I can't recall the last time a fighters won a major fight while facing turmoil in his training camp. It almost never happens. Ward is going to comfortably win a decision.

Regardless of tension in camp you just don't jump to the opposite corner. There should be rules written into the contract against that. I already feel like there is serious collusion involved.

There are a lot of things he could be telling Ward's camp that could potentially hurt him in the fight.

I think Kovalev has everything to lose in this rematch. I honestly don't see him getting the win.
