Helluva fight. I think with Bud is the more refined technician, but I'm not sure that'll be enough to overcome Spence's sheer physicality quite aside from his slight edge in size. I'd pick Bud if he's able to use his movement to keep Errol at range, but Spence ain't bad at cutting the ring and seems to be able to close well behind a decent jab. Right now pick 'em for me - these are amongst the top fighters in the game - but gun to head I'm maybe edging it to Bud. Without much confidence though.

Brook might want to consider hanging up his gloves before he ends up like Margarito.
Did Spence screw up the same eye that Golovkin broke the orbital bone on?

I agree again! Kell couldn't keep Spence Jr. at distance, so I wonder if Bud can, but Bud is definitely a better boxer than Brook. I think Bud can beat Thurman, so after Pacquiao, it might be wise to go after Thurman first, then Errol!

Crawford Spence feels realistic as Bud looks like a big 140lber, but got to wonder about the jump to 147 where he would start to face bigger stronger guys than at 140, and how that would pan out. Broners' not the best example (of anything), but a case of 'strong at 140, can't do anything at 147'.

If Crawford made the jump he should take the Ward route of settling into the weight by taking on a couple of loer contenders at 147 before going for the top dogs - that was smart from Ward, would be equally smart from Crawford. Quite a few to choose from in the secondary pack who would be interesting, eg Matthysse, Broner, Collazo - knock off any 2 of those, 'marinate' a fight with one of the top guys (as DLH would say), then go for it. By then Spence Thurman likely have happened and could be a fight for most of the marbles.

Garcia and Porter are better victories AT WELTERWEIGHT than Marquez dude. Marquez is a HOF no doubt, but he wouldn't survive 12 rounds against these huge, powerful welterweigths, he barely survived twelve against feather fisted Floyd, in fact the HBO commentary were saying that the ref should stop the fight, and the ref asked Marquez at the end of the sixth round if he wants to continue.

There's a reason Bradley aint fought none of these full fledged welters.
