Mayweather, Arum didn't want to put Cotto in with him at that point.

Speaking of Cotto, what happened to his strength and conditioning coach? I remember it was some English guy. Haven't heard anything from him since.

Alex Ariza as well, does he still train boxers? He was a staple of Elie Sechback videos but has gone missing for a few years

2006 I would say Mayweather, would have been a good fight though. But at that time Mayweather.

Give me 2008 Cotto that fought Alfonso Gomez. That Cotto would have the greatest chance to beat Mayweather.

He was South African, Phil Landman.

Cotto has Gavin McMillan now from the Sports Science Lab

Ariza is training Thomas Dulorme that I know of.

I've seen him on some videos from a little earlier this year.

It's all conjecture on my part. But I remember Cotto being ringside for Gatti and the announcers were saying he needed a little more seasoning before getting in with Mayweather.

It doesn't matter because Mayweather beat him 2012.

Why go back in time for a fantasy when you already have the actual fight?

2006 is an odd year to want that fight.

                    2008 would have been perfect.
Both Cotto and Mayweather were in their prime.
