Canelo already unified. Who did charlo beat? Canelo leftover Trout and nobody else. Struggled with the same trout that canelo put on his azz. Charlo ducked lara. Andrade? Nobody is ducking that fool who keeps himself inactive. Canelo fought EVERYBODY fans have asked him to fight. Spence has haymon protecting him all the top guys with haymon and we all know haymon picks the fights not the fighters. He could of fought danny, Thurman, porter, khan years ago but haymon wanted to keep the belts separate. Canelo fighting and beating top p4p and hall of famers spence has 1 decent win against a euro bum coming off a career beat down from GGG and nobody worth a damn before that. SMH

There almost the same age. Spence is only 6 months older than Canelo.

Canelo has been developing for many years earlier.

Imo, Canelo is pretty near his prime.
He will improve and get better. I just don't think it's going to be by much better than what he is now. He will get better, not a whole lot though, that's just my opinion.

I agree Spence still has more to prove at 147 and beyond. We have to see how he develops. My opinion could change depending on how Spence looks. Have to see how he develops first.

If Spence cleans out welterweight, moves up to 154 and looks impressive there. Then I can see Canelo and Spence in a big fight later.

And again, where did "I" say he beats Canelo. I didn't say that, other posters on this thread have. But I didn't say that. I'm just mentioning the potential of a big fight between Canelo and Spence in the future.

We just have to see how Spence develops.

Canelo was fighting and dominating grown men and world class fighters as a teenager while spence was fighting weaker comp in amateurs with headgear. Both have been developing and still are it's just canelo did it in the public eye on the bigger stage. But he's younger and still peaking. Spence is just now fighting the level of comp canelo was fighting 5 years ago. Canelo beats him now. Who knows where both guys are at whenever spence is done bullying small guys at 147 and decides to move up to middlweight but my money is on canelo. Spence has none of the attributes that have given canelo issues. Too easy to hit, slow, doesn't fight off his back foot, ect. If canelo beats GGG he's beating basically a bigger stronger version of spence.

I said Canelo would beat Spence if they fought now, today. Canelo would win a UD 12 imo.

I'm just saying in the future, once we see how Spence develops, if he unifies 147, moves up to 154 and looks impressive. Then a Canelo-Spence fight would be an intriguing match up. It all depends on how Spence looks and develops though.

Canelo kills spence. Not only is he bigger and stronger but he's faster, more skilled, better defense and better chin. And do people realize that Canelo is actually younger then spence? Canelo hasn't even peaked yet. I can't find a single advantage spence has over canelo. Only question is how good is spence chin and will he last for a 12 round azzz whopping or does he get knocked out before that. As for their styles only fighters who have given canelo any problems are guys who fight off the back foot and are elusive to hit/refuse to stay in the pocket forcing canelo to chase them. Spence doesn't fight like that and his defense is not very. Canelo wants guys to come forward so he can counter you. Brook had him confused and stunned him a few times he was losing until brook gassed out the second half of the fight. Canelo has too many layers to his game and is too smart for spence you add the fact that he's 2 weight classes bigger.

Canelo is 27 this year, he'll be 27 by the time he gets in the ring with GGG, Spence turned 27 this year too, so they're actually the same age.

Typical with this Forum people are just ALL OVER THE PLACE! Man won his 1st World Title at 147 and people already trying to get him to move up to 154 and 160 mind you these are the same people who was calling him "Jeff Lacy" and said Kell Brook would "Expose Him"

Only way Canelo and Spence fight is if Spence jumps up two weight classes for a once off fight and then gets back down to welterweight.

The reason I say this is because Spence won't move up to 154 because his stablemate Jermell Charlo is there and Jermell already stated his intentions to unify 154.

Jermell won't move up to 160 either because his twin brother is there and he too gonna prolly become unified champ. He fighting an eliminator for the wbc title soon which means that he gonna be the mandatory of Canelo vs GGG winner, and if he wins he'll be a unified champ.

So here's how it is. Spence won't move up to 154 because he'd be getting in the way of his stablemate, who won't move up to 160 coz then he'd be getting in the way of his twin brother.

That's why I say Spence fights Canelo only by jumping up for a once off fight. Only one who could make it possible I suppose is Andrade. If Andrade were to beat Jermell and unify 154 then prolly Spence would move up to challenge him.

canelo slaughters him. spence walks his way inside in a straight line, he forces his way in sometimes doesnt even jab to do it. walk in on Canelo like that he'll be committing suicide. the uppercut from brook was catching Spence all night, the uppercut is canelos deadliest weapon. Spence has litte to no head movement. he'll be a punching bag for those lethal canelo combos. its over before then 10th.
