Does spence fight ANYTHING like floyd? Hell no he's an offensive, slow, weak defensive fighter. Styles make fights cotto busted up floyd nose and that fight was close. So I guess cotto should destroy canelo then right? Nope canelo beats cotto easier then floyd did and didn't get his face busted up to do it. Canelo was a green pup when he fought floyd and is much better fighter today and there is only 1 floyd and spence is damn sure not floyd. Canelo is pretty much close to his prime, I don't see him getting that much better than he is now. He may get a little better but he's at or very near his prime right now.

Canelo and Spence are nearly the same age..Spence is only 6 months older than Canelo.

I know Spence has a lot more to prove and more growing to do as a fighter. And I acknowledge Canelo would beat him now if they fought today. In a 12 round decision, imo.

Later on down the line, who knows. Spence is a big welterweight, he'll be going to 154 in 2 years or so time, maybe sooner. They can negotiate a weight or maybe Spence can just fight Canelo at 160. Depending on how Spence develops. Then we might be able to gage that fight a little better down the road.

If they fought today, I have Canelo winning for sure. Down the line this has the potential to be a big fight. We just have to see how Spence develops.

How do you know what spence stamina is he's had what 1 fight past the 10th before this weekend? You the troll bringing up Floyd is posts that have nothing to do with floyd. There almost the same age. Spence is only 6 months older than Canelo.

Imo, Canelo is pretty near his prime.
He will improve and get better. I just don't think it's going to be by much better than what he is now. I'm basing that on level of competition that both have fought. Based on that I think Canelo is at or near his ceiling. He will get better, not a whole lot though, that's just my opinion. Spence still has to prove himself against more better fighters, elite level comp, etc...so he is still in the early development stages. Canelo is more in the advanced development stage.

I agree Spence still has more to prove at 147 and beyond. We have to see how he develops. My opinion could change depending on how Spence looks. Have to see how he develops first.

If Spence cleans out welterweight, moves up to 154 and looks impressive there. Then I can see Canelo and Spence in a big fight later.

And again, where did "I" say he beats Canelo. I didn't say that, other posters on this thread have. But I didn't say that. I'm just mentioning the potential of a big fight between Canelo and Spence in the future.

We just have to see how Spence develops.
