The IBF don't seem to want an undisputed champ even though they said unifications are prioritised over mandatories

Its such a goofy move by the IBF to strip Indongo for choosing a unification for all the belts over a mandatory if that ends up being their move. And a sh^tty mandatory earned at that. Lipinets is one of my favorite prospects, but him earning a title shot via a W over Lenny Z is ******ed.

That said I'm never surprised with any abc group bs that's counterproductive to boxing so whatever. I'd rather see the top two guys in any division fight over a legit earned mandatory contender fight & that's the way everyone should feel.

It's frustrating because you know the IBF isn't pulling favorites like the WBC, WBO, and WBA, the IBF is enforcing what their rules and regulations say. Its analogous to a cop playing it strictly by the book, but the book keeps screwing you even when you aren't in the wrong.

They just need to adjust the rulebook slightly for situations like this. A small change is all it would take.

If they would listen to the fans the IBF could become the best governing body in the sport.

The IBF have done themselves no favours here. Appreciate that they have their rules and they seem to actually abide by them as opposed to bending over for the usual favorites, but it's not often an opportunity arises for a genuine unified champ. All they need to do is delay their mando for a few months and deal done.

fuk the IBF for this ish, and for going towards stripping joshua. absolute bollocks, what do they have a belt for, if they make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever get all of them.

The other ABC's should unrecognise the IBF if they keep fking unifications like this up. The whole point of them mutually recognising each others champs is so that unifications TRUMP mandatories. Plus, IBF rankings are usually utter dogs#it, spence is the first decent mando ive seen for that WW belt in years

Crawford v Indongo is the fight to be made at the moment at 140 so its good if it will happen next rather than months or years down the line. I reckon Crawford wins, which then launches him into the welterweight division and a Pac fight.
