Just that one small change and they can keep everything else the same.
☝️ I agree. IBF at least has same morning weigh in too, which weeds out some of the guys too big for their division

Well that screws up Crawford going up to 147 anytime soon. Crawford is like GGG, he isn't moving up until he has all of the belts.

I guess when Crawford most likely wins he will want to fight the IBF champion next. I'm guessing the IBF will mandate Lipinets against Akihiro Kondo who is the next ranked which would be a terrible fight. No idea how that Kondo guy got so damn high in the rankings with him fighting nobodies in Japan.

So I guess Crawford/Lipinets will happen this time next year and then hopefully Crawford goes to 147 by the end of 2018.

My thought exactly, this is an important fight and IBF should have made exceptions

Unless this is coming from the IBF - not sure this is right. Unifications take priority over the mandatory if the Championship Committee approves it. I don't know why they wouldn't in this case. People want to see this fight for all the belts. The only thing that would prevent that is if a notice for purse bid went out, then it's too late to get a unifier approved. There has to be a negotiation period for that - so again - not sure this guy has the right information, unless he was informed by the IBF.

2 pages of comments and no one has said "Indongo is ducking Lipinets"?

              I am impressed.

Well it's hard to even jokingly say it when he's fighting a P4P best instead.

Well, it has been said before about other fighters (Ward) and they also said it about Indongo himself.
