Let's be honest. Floyd vs Pac was a lot closer than people made out

KENNY LOPEZ SHOCKING INTERVIEW! PACQUIAO BEAT MAYWEATHER RE SCORE PEDS USADA NSAC

@ 2:32 - Did Pacquiao win this fight? Honestly. Yes!
@ 2:34 - I think that the reason a lot of people don't see it that way is because of the commentating. It fooled a lot of people.
@2:48 - Mayweather was very good at pot shotting moving out controling the distance, if you take that away and you neutralize it, he looks like his landing catching those shots, but you hear Roy Jones saying he landed, but when you watch it again, he wasn't landing none of those shots.

@ 3:30 - I want to make it official, I watched the fight again, and I thought Manny Pacquiao won that fight when I watched it again.

Hopefully history perceives things the correct way, which is that one man came to fight, the other came to hug and run, and that there was an obvious difference in work and effort in the ring that night between the two competitors.

Floyd fans see no wrong here, lots of boxing fans (not necessarily Pacquiao fans) disagree.
It just doesn't pass the smell test.
      End of story.
Bottom line is Mayweather didn't do anything wrong, BOTH USADA and NSAC said so.

2009 Pac would have run into 2009 Mayweather and would have been beaten worse.

Manny's offense was rendered as ineffective as we have EVER seen it. Give Floyd his props.

We can speculate about 2009 forever but will never really know

Fact is though the post-Marquez brutal KO Manny became a totally different fighter. The dude became a cautious, pick your spots type of boxer after that KO

That said, what we do know is how Pacquiao/Mayweather in 2015 played out, and yes, I give Floyd all the credit in the world, no excuses, he won and in the process held Manny to his least effective (in fact it bordered on putrid) offensive performance in his professional career

BUT hey, Manny should get a little credit to for also holding Floyd to his least effective offensive performance of his career as well. Floyd even in victory fought as cautiously as we've ever seen him also

cant keep throwing if the other guy is constantly on the move. pac would have gassed out had he kept throwing, giving floyd a chance at stopping him.

I disagree. The 2009 Pac vs the 2009 Floyd with quicker reflexes. I'll take Floyd at that point, he was still fast and sharp as heck.

De la hoya summed up the difference between Pac fans and Floyd fans:

"My heart says Manny, but my mind says Floyd"

Trust your gut, smell , heart or whatever while disregarding the available facts, after all it's YOUR opinion.

                    But here's the problem:

You claimed misinformation as "a fact" when you presented your opinion.

I don't expect you to change your opinion - just understand it's based on misinformation and I do request you to post accordingly.

So next time say "my heart says the IV is bad, but my mind doesn't know the facts"

Don't worry, there are plenty of pact@rds that will still find your post enlightening.

This wasn't a hard fight to score. And even though Floyd wasn't dominating rounds, he was clearly winning them. He won 8 rounds plain as day. Pacquaio won 2 rounds clearly. There were 2 relatively close rounds. So basically it was a 9-3 fight +/- 1 round.
