Not really, no impaired vision at all. Spence was storming and Brook QUIT in a still winnable fight

Nope but when you claim you are the man without proving it then you claim you were leading on the scorecards in your head, why did you quit with a round and a half to go?

My problem with Brook is that he never proved himself, he is like a lot of British fighters who rack up 30 odd wins, whilst sitting at home fighting bum and then calling themselves the man, just because we support our boxers passionately doesn't mean they are the best.

They still need to go out there and prove it, Brook at 147 had his first real adversity but he didn't react like other real warriors would in that ring. He was the more seasoned pro, home advantage, champion etc

Am not going to give him a break at all. He followed the path of least resistance from the beginning, he never challenged himself in 13 years at that weight.

Thurman in the last 4 years has fought Guerrero, Chaves, Garcia, Porter, collazo etc, and Brook? Porter and now Spence.
Oh. I thought he took a knee to buy him 10 Seconds, t clear his thoughts and regroup ( a perfectly legitimate tactic we have seen used before). I thought he would continue after that, but the ref stopped it. Again, thats what I saw, but I could of course, be wrong.

Nah you are wrong Brook wanted a way out. He has no heart for a boxer. More than ortrees but that's not saying much

But if he wanted a way out, why didnt he take The Full 10 Count? Why bother standing?

He did what most boxers that wanted to quit do, get up after 9 and play dumb.if he didn't want to quit he would get up after 7/8 and say am ready.

I'd rather they do that then to just verbally quit. I was thinking the ref might let It continue after he got up at 9. Did the ref ask him if he wanted to continue?

[QUOTE=Ray*;17711708]Yep I totally agree with you here, the eye was the perfect excuse. He was blinking intentionally because he wanted a way out, he was getting destroyed to the body and he was going to get laid out. He didn't want that in front of his own fans, so he kinda quit... I don't like to question boxers heart but a lot of boxers would rather have gone out on their backs, than quit the way he did. When you look at his resume and see the fights he has had you can tell he wouldn't dig deeper if he face any sort of adversity.[/QUO
exactly , as soon as he started the exagerated eye blinking i knew straight away hes looking for his corner or the ref to get him out of there he was wanting someone to make the decision for him to stop the fight then when they didnt he did ,he quit.
