None of the guys you mentioned are that good though. Collazo got wrecked by Thurman, but because he landed one body shot, you want to say Khan's resume is great? Khan hasn't beaten a Brook or Porter or even DSG at welterweight. I agree Khan is underrated and might have even beat Floyd because styles make fights, but can you really trust his chin to survive 12 vs Thurman, Spence, or even Brook?

Which is why I wrote as **** as khan's run is at 147.

My point was Porter isn't very good Julio Diaz beat him.
Even if you disagree Brook is a career welter and his record is very very weak. Khan has only had a handful of fights there yet has a better overall record than Brook.

We have already seen as Eddie Hearn called after he beat/drew with Porterand signed to fight Khan a blown up feather fisted glas jawed lightweight did to "Killer" Porter even the rematch when Diaz was even more past it was competitive too.

Brook has been trying to get khan in the ring for years. Khan wants no part of him. As far as people saying Kell quit, that is utter bs. Look at the
Walters vs Lomachenko fight. That is quitting for those who lack the understanding or meaning of the word.

This fight was on Showtime at 5:15. Khan was half of a fight which did 600k ppvs his last fight. Khan can still rematch Garcia, he can fight Thurman, Porter, he can rematch Peterson, he can fight Diaz, Berto, Broner. Obviously, neither Brook nor Khan will be in a fight as big as todays or Thurman-Garcia, but Khan still has a number of options. Brook doesn't. Khan does not need Brook to make money, but Brook does need Khan to make big money.

BTW, that Hearn guy looks as immoral, greedy, and slimy as a snake on meth. He is the prototype of a used car or snake oil salesman.

Porter and Peterson are Thurman's mandatories, so none of those are options. Broner may be tied up with Mikey soon.

None of those other guys are selling out any arenas anywhere.....sans pacquiao, none of them makes khan anywhere near as much money as a brook fight.

He knows it, go read his comments. He also waited for Brook to get beat up. The fight happens now, because Khan sees brook as vulnerable, it's a fight he might actually win, he thinks. The split will be closer to 50-50, than 75-25.
