This is why boxing is so ****ed up. What if all those guys at 160 didn't duck GGG, then Brook never would have needed to go up to fill the date, and both divisions would be better off, with GGG fighting the best at 160, and Brook staying at 147. His career is kind of ****ed now not just because of the eye, but because he can't make 147 healthy and I'm not sure he's big enough for 154.

Not sure. That may have been true before this fight, but if this fight turned out to be as big as it seems, i think kell gets nothing less than 45%.

This is probably khans only hope for a big fight, so i think it finally gets done for this time next year. Won't be surprised if it's 50-50 either.

This fight was on Showtime at 5:15. Khan was half of a fight which did 600k ppvs his last fight. Khan can still rematch Garcia, he can fight Thurman, Porter, he can rematch Peterson, he can fight Diaz, Berto, Broner. Obviously, neither Brook nor Khan will be in a fight as big as todays or Thurman-Garcia, but Khan still has a number of options. Brook doesn't. Khan does not need Brook to make money, but Brook does need Khan to make big money.

BTW, that Hearn guy looks as immoral, greedy, and slimy as a snake on meth. He is the prototype of a used car or snake oil salesman.

Coincidentally as **** as Khan's 147 run has been Khan has beaten Diaz coming off him getting got robbed against the "Killer" Porter.

Alexander whom is still said Killers best win unless you think it's Broner, the guy whom barely beat if that a shot Paulie.

Collazo who made "Killer" Thurman run for dear life and recently beat a "Young hungry Lion"


Now if your gonna count spence or GGG as "Killers" on Brooks record then Canelo is also a Killer whom I wouldn't be surprised if he beats GGG

There is a reason why Kell Brook has been one of the most carefully managed fighters in recent years taking over a decade to fight a puncher.

im hoping 2 things;

1) brook fully heals himself and gets back at it by destroying khan.
2) spence doesnt think hes reached the mountain top. fury did and it ruined him.

Khan is right though. It was the demons, Brook was scared to death he had broke his other eye and quit because of it. Turns out, it was just a swollen eye. That tends to happen in boxing. If Brook is gonna freak out and quit every time he has any swelling or any boo-boo then he might as well just quit now. Brook had real talent, too bad he wasted it all away. Fighting Jojo, Gavin, and Bizier after Porter cut his career short. If he woulda fought a top opponent he probably woulda won. But he didn't. Then Spence was his mandatory. So he figured he might as well lose to a bigger guy, so he can explain it away. But after G, Spence was still there. And Pac told him no, and Khan demanded the lion's share, and all the top guys at 154 would beat Brook, so he really didn't have any choice. He got 75% of the purse and got the fight in his backyard in a much bigger fight than anyone at 154. Now he is done. Shouldn't have pulled out of the Chaves fight. That was Brook's undoing. Now he can fight Khan in a fight no one outside of England cares about and then retire. All Brook is ever going to be now is a name people see on G's and Spence's record on boxrec.
