It's time for Cotto to close shop and call it a career. For him to even put his health at risk when he's financially set would even make me question his mental state.

It could be a really hard fight for Cotto if he can't get Lemieux's respect quickly but Cotto has the ability to catch Lemieux and hurt him. Cotto is definitely a better technician but he's also the smaller ,older fighter. Lemieux looked horrible in his last fight. Some of that was probably due to his opponents style and some of it was due to his own reckless impatience. He seemed to be trying to rush the KO which worked against him. He got tired and started getting clipped quit a bit. I think he wanted another highlight KO, like the one he got with Curtis Stevens. But I thought Lemieux looked quite bad in that fight. I actually wouldn't be shocked to see Cotto win that fight...but I wouldn't be shocked to see Cotto get mowed down either.

No way he can handle a flush shot from lemule man. Unless they fight at a lower weight to drain lemule.

Lol, Cotto is not fighting Lemieux at 160.

The most Cotto has ever weighed for a Middleweight fight is 155 when he fought Martinez all his other fights at Middleweight he weighed in as a Jr. Middleweight at 153.5

Cotto would have Lemieux come down to a catch weight if they fought. And Lemieux has trouble making 160.

I seriously doubt this fight happens.

Names like Marquez, Matthysse and others will be more considered than Lemieux at 160.
