Look, he and Floyd will put on some kind of exhibition / fake **** so they can both feel better about basically conning the public out of a lot of $$$.

Conor's game plan is to not get knocked out or gassed out, collect his 8 figure check (huge percentage goes to the UFC and Dana's pocket), and give the predictable, "Floyd is a hell of a competitor, but boxing is not my game," speech.

Conor and Floyd hug at the end. Floyd cries, and gives his third retirement speech. 50-0 doe.

Because of this f**king guy is even remotely competitive with Floyd, then it damages an already maligned sport that much more. And God forbid the guy hits the home run of all home runs and beats the 0.00000000000000000000000001% odds...because if he did the sport of boxing would be dead as we know it. It would never recover.
This. 100% this. You can hate or love Floyd, but he is definitely one of the greatest of all time. If not the greatest.

Nothing against McGregor, but if this has any other outcome other than Mayweather absolutely humiliating and toying with him then McGregor and UFC take the morale victory. Floyd will be representing the sport we all love.

This is why this fight makes me nervous. Floyd is a great boxer the best IMO; I'm not so sure he is a great fighter though.

His gameplan is go in, get made to look like the amateur he is and pick up a huge amount of money and just fall back on the excuse that he isn't a boxer.

                Simple as that really.

In the extremely unlikely one in a billion chance he lands some shot that KO's Floyd, then that's just a bonus, but the objective is the payday.

And how bad is this dude going to potentially look? He barely registers at an amateur boxing level, and if you go by some of the dude's shadow boxing clips that have surfaced -- jeezus, man. It's possible that he's not even at an amateur level for f**k's sake. Going up against the best boxer of this generation, and very arguably, the most prolific defensive boxer in the entire history of the sport.

Only thing that McGregor has advantage wise is age. How old is Floyd now? 41?

So what's this guy's game plan? Just disregard defense entirely and attempt to walk Floyd down and just throw as many hail mary bombs as he can and hope he hits the lottery? I mean obviously if he tried to box him, lmao, it might very well be the most embarrassing display of "boxing" that we've ever seen at this level of the sport.

If you're in McGregor's corner how are you approaching this?
... Catch Floyd in close and KO him with an elbow???

The plan is before the fight talk a ton of sh-t, get ktfo, get paid, live the rest of his life comfortably.

That's what he must do. Floyd only knows how to fight humans. You've got to be a lion, or a wildebeest.
