OK, I'm black, and I grew up in Indiana where the KKK originated from (most people don't even know that). And I know a racist when I see one. Kovalev is not racist at all. Sure some of the things may get lost in translation because he is Russian, but he's not racist. I have a buddy that is from Australia and he told me a story about a guy he knew that was Aboriginal. My buddy and his friends called the guy "Darkie" and it was in no way shape or form a racist remark, it was all in jest. And the guy Darkie never took offense because people in Australia didn't have the same type of antennas when it come to race and color as the people of America do. That's why Kovalev gets himself into trouble because he doesn't know how offensive some of the things he says is. Now again, I'm black, and Stevenson DOES resemble a monkey hahahah but in Amercian culture I can say that, not a white guy. Just like I can say the N word and not a white guy (which I have always thought was ******). Also, for Roc Nation to say that Ward is "always professional" is laughable hahahahahahahahahhahahaha. This dude is about as unprofessional as it gets.
He didn't even show up to the Face Off a few weeks ago.

Hes been addressed many times before by not only his team but the media in regards to his racist remarks - he is without excuse ; his ongoing campaign of hate and ignorance only proves that he is deliberately trying to offend not only Ward but members of the African American community.

Furthermore I find it pathetic that you excuse him for being a 'foreigner' when hes lived in this country for how many years and is even a legal resident -- maybe even a citizen...If I went to live in Japan I'm sure I would be mindful of peoples customs after a few years you think?
