Andre Ward has remained mostly quiet since the tension-filled, three-city press tour last month to promote his upcoming rematch against Sergey Kovalev. Like Kovalev, Ward is focused on training for their HBO Pay-Per-View main event June 17 fight at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Ward's promoter, however, has expressed his displeasure with what he considers continuous "appalling" and "unprofessional" behavior from Kovalev during the buildup toward their light heavyweight championship rematch.

Of all the people in boxing Andre Ward would be one of the few that anyone shouldn't really say or act like that to, he is respected and oozes class. He had absolute faith in himself and that isn't a crime. There are other ways to sell a fight, Kov need to learn from his Adonis and Pascal issues and let his fist do the real damage,

Is motherf#cker a racist term now? Cuz thats the only thing I've seen Kovalev call him I think. I guess one could argue its a ****** word you are throwing around, but idk if thats really even a thing or if suggesting someone is down to f#ck their mother via a curse word is racist.

That funny video wasn't racist at all unless your a f#cking baby about goofing on someone. If that was racist any movie a non-black person makes with the N word in it is racist now (Quentin Taratino needs to be in racist jail for sure in that case). And anyone who said a racist word in a movie is racist. Cuz thats all that video was was a video for entertainment purposes that had Ward's character in said video use insulting racial terms. Although it should be noted not even in racial/racist ways as it was a half black guy calling a Russian guy the N word.

Andre Ward is a Christian role-model and family man, there are few boxers worthy of the highest regard such as Andre Ward for all he has done for this country and the sport of boxing : bringing home a gold medal and many world titles through hard work and many years of sacrifice yet at the same time he has remained humble ; never abandoning his principles and dignity despite these unwarranted insults by Kovalev his promoter and many other critics ( including unprofessional journalist.)

I don't even think Dre would ever use the words “n*gga” and “f*ggot.” ....I could not even engage in conversation with my colleagues about this topic ; Sergay Kovalev has embarrassed the sport of boxing, he should issue a public apology and donate to a civil rights organization of Dre's choice and HBO should disassociate themselves from this man after S.O.G whoops him again.
