Kovalev is a racist. This isn't the first racist thing he did. That's fine if people want to give him a pass but to equate Ward's behavior to Kovalev's proves how low some people will go to make a point. The writer himself seem to be giving him a pass saying he doesn't speak English. There are certain words that are universal and you don't need to speak English to understand the effect.

With that being said, this has nothing to do with the fight. This isn't Joe Louis going against Max Schleming. Kovalev is who he is. I like him as a fighter but his insecurity when it comes to race is pretty obvious.
