When Mike retired, many of his fans stopped watching boxing, but they still find time to comment on eras since being much worse, even though they haven't watched any of it.

Mike was promoted and matched brilliantly. Built him up as unbeatable, in England we did the same with Prince Naseem, but in reality, by the time prince retired, in his prime btw, there were at least 10 guys who would have navy-sealed him in and around his weight division just like Barrera did. Prime Mike lost to Douglas, a mediocre HW, not just by a one off punch in a fight he was winning, which can happen at HW more than other divisions due to weight/power, but he got completely outclassed all the way through the fight, then knocked out. He only won 1 round (10-8)

He beat Spinks, big whup. An overrated LHW coming up two divisions. Yeah, what a shock. Then Holmes, coming in off two losses in a row. About as good a win as Holmes beating Ali, a man who in a post fight interview took about 20 seconds to get out of a chair.

Then his fans bring up guys like Tucker and Tubbs, two people who would be long forgotten now if they weren't on Tyson's resume. Nash out.
Mcdermott beat **** of Fury douglas is rated top 10 for years atleast

All of that ''rushing to the ring in black shorts and no socks'' shlt
Clayton and Jacobs knew Mike had a very small window of success before he got exposed. I wish I saved the interview. Unable to google it

Mike beat no one special and the hype that built him is hysterical
I mean, it's not as if we have to take the words of a historian because there is not footage.
We got to see Mike and everyone he fought. How can he be considered great ?!?!?

      Great ''potential'' ?

For one, many people had Fury winning that fight. on top of that, there were many people who would have beaten Fury then, at least 20. Hardly prime Fury LMAO. I had raw Fury winning 96-94 as did many others, but bringing that up! Hahahaha. Yeah, that's the same Fury who beat Wlad, and Wilder. What a muppet. Nash out.

The Great Nash loves Fury, but everyone likes who they like. Just don't get why Tyson is so talked about 35 or whatever years later when he was just one level above journeyman. Nash out.
                BodyBagz BodyBagz likes this.

Between Mike and Fury, Mike's style is more pleasing....for me.

                    Not a fan of either.

If Fury said he would kill Mike, would you accept that too ?
