Atleast im not one of the idiots who think win in close wars is better than KO someone in 1 automatically win in close wars improve your resume status and everything.
It's working ![/QUOTE well is just mythical as is if Ali fought today he would destroy today HWS
When entertaining Fantasy Fight scenarios, you have to have some sort of basics to work with. There has to be some reality in the mix.
To say May would have beaten Prime RJJ without a CW would be pure fantasy.
The hype doesn't support the actuality of it all.
Not even close.
One trick pony Wilder could have done what Mike did.
You are c lueless about boxing. Mike Tyson was in control of all his fights, every second of the rounds. it was a fight for survival to get through 1st round. Wilder had no control until he was perfect for 2 seconds.

Tyson is a nostalgic glasses legend. The thing is in boxing, sometimes fan get into the sports because of one guy. Joshua is similar, I bet about 50 % of his fan base only watch boxing for him. When Mike retired, many of his fans stopped watching boxing, but they still find time to comment on eras since being much worse, even though they haven't watched any of it.
Mike was promoted and matched brilliantly. Built him up as unbeatable, in England we did the same with Prince Naseem, but in reality, by the time prince retired, in his prime btw, there were at least 10 guys who would have navy-sealed him in and around his weight division just like Barrera did. Prime Mike lost to Douglas, a mediocre HW, not just by a one off punch in a fight he was winning, which can happen at HW more than other divisions due to weight/power, but he got completely outclassed all the way through the fight, then knocked out. He only won 1 round (10-8)
He beat Spinks, big whup. An overrated LHW coming up two divisions. Yeah, what a shock. Then Holmes, coming in off two losses in a row. About as good a win as Holmes beating Ali, a man who in a post fight interview took about 20 seconds to get out of a chair.
Then his fans bring up guys like Tucker and Tubbs, two people who would be long forgotten now if they weren't on Tyson's resume. Nash out.
