He would have fought already if most of the division didn't duck him. I can't really be made at GYM because they were trying to get him an eliminator fight, but could never lock down an opponent.

they offered stevenson the same exact purse split and he turned it down. for years. thats on stevenson. i understand people have to look out for their own interests which is what both camps did but only one camp tried to make the fight

she couldnt get him more money because beterbiev took it all in a 75-25 split. the split for smith-barrera will be much more even giving barrera more money. if beterbiev wasnt so greedy and didnt think he was some popular a-side when hes a nobody he would get more fights. ggg had trouble getting opponents and paid them 40-45 percent just to get in the ring like he did with jacobs. giving barrera 25 percent of an already low purse(pbc has no money) makes no sense. just go to hbo. they have more money and fairer purses.

kovalev tried to figth him and give him 500k and that wasnt good enough. you cant expect good fighters to fight for 50k. that's garbage. its a way of saying look he's ducking me he won't let me rob him! then you go and fight some desperate guy like koelling who needs the money. they could have come to terms before the purse bid or bid a lot in the purse bid. they did neither. its not barreras fault pbc and beterbiev are broke. he knows there's money at hbo not to mention more viewers so he went there
