It's clear Floyd knows that Tank isn't ready for Loma but if he's not ducking or dodging, then why not at least tell us when he thinks they should fight?
I also wish people stop bringing up Tank's age as some kind of excuse to not fight Loma when he just beat two guys that are around the same age as him. Pedraza is 28. Walsh is 31. Now suddenly age matters when it comes to 29 year old Lomachenko? Yeah right!
In the end, Tank is just simply not on Lomachenko's level and that's why Floyd is not in a rush to make it.
How is it Davis' fault that Loma started late in a young man's game. Nobody is waiting for Loma to get old, he was old when he turned pro. Canelo waited until GGG stunk, because he has the time. The old man game doesn't work in boxing. Loma is rushed, 9-1 is hardly a legacy and names are getting scarce at 130.
I was always in the frame of mind that any fighter who wins a belt, should be able and willing to defend that belt against all comers in that weight class.
There is no more "coming along slowly". Once you grab a world title, it is sink or swim time.
Don't go out and grab a title if you don't plan on acting like a champion.
but your happy to fight other fighter in late 20's other than lomachenko? thats a duck whatever way you try to spin it, youre only willing to fight fighters who arent elite basically.
