The final punch was clearly after the bell. That's against the rules.

Not to mention that earlier in the fight Uzcategui had already been given a warning about another late punch that landed after the bell.

I've watched it back several times. Last shot, yes, blatant late punch. First 2 were AT the bell. Those were what caused the damage. That last one was nothing. Every time I watch this, it's more clear Dirrell just took advantage of an 'easy out'.

Why is this an easy out? Yes, the first two shots were legit, but the third one wasn't. He was warned in an earlier round about hitting after the bell and the ref kept telling them the round was almost over and not to hit after the bell. Dirrell was knocked flat on his face from an illegal blow. When have you ever seen a fighter get up from a blow like that and not get finished? Why should he have gotten up from an illegal blow that knocked him out to surely get stopped?

I felt Dirrrell was going to get stopped at some point in the fight. He benefited by bad timing of Uzcategui's combo and the ref informing him that he was going to win by DQ. Second time he has won looking up from the canvas. Not a fan.

I feel bad for Andre because he very clearly didn't quit in either of those fights. He got robbed vs Froch then sucker punched by Abraham and this dude who intentionaly hit him after the bell because he was frustrated after he had already been warned for doing it earlier.

Stick to MMA cupcake cuz you obviously weren't watching the fight! 1st and 2nd punch before the bell last punch right after the bell. It was unintentional as he was throwing a 3 punch combination. The moron ref should of been in closer to stop the action at the bell and Diarrhea Dirrell should of kept his hands up, oh wait he couldn't cuz he was already out from the first punch! Was he hurt, yes, could he continue, absolutely, did he choose the easy way out, most definitely! Jose was ahead on 2 of the scorecards and was just a round away from KO'ing Diarrhea Dirrell so it was a lame stoppage. Ref should of took a point from Jose, never told Diarrhea to stay down cuz he was winning by DQ! Worst officiating ever since the Canadian screw job in the Lucian Bute vs Librado Andrade 1 fight! WWE is on I think you might have a better time understanding that than boxing son!

The Abraham one looked fake as hell but this time it looked real based on how Dirrell went limp.

However, he should have been given five minutes to recover instead of the fight ending in an automatic disqualification.

..add to the refs incompetence. and then has the nerve to pass of the blame. instead of a dq, it should be a nc and they fight again.

He was already in progress on a 3 punch combo. Last punch landed a split second after the bell rung.
