Biggest joke of a promotional company...however, at least it seems they are trying to cut some of their losses. For a while it was looking like they were purposely trying to lose millions to get some kind of tax relief. But they are still extremely incompetent.

Yeah also I guess they thought because Jay Z name is attached to it that his Hip Hop fans would all of a sudden become boxing fans and that haven't been the case unfortunately

I'm sure Roc Nation is losing more money than they're making and when they happens most people just cut their loses and move on I really could see that happening especially if they lose money on this Ward vs Kovalev II eventually which is looking very likely

I'm absolutely wrong, but you just agreed with me?? I think you got what I said mixed up. And, I agree with you about them being foolish to sign a big-money fighter while he's in the twilight of his career. They always want the money without the risks.

I'll admit that I (nor any of us) really know what's going on in this situation but with Cotto's history and the fact that he hasn't had a win in 2 years, it's not crazy to say he's being the diva in this situation. The guy wants big fight money, but doesn't want any big fights.

Roc Nation had no clue what they were doing. Paid to much to steal Cotto away from Top Rank and basically had him on the shelf for 2 years. Roc Nation I believe a week ago fired their match maker as well. How many more fights do they owe Ward? He's jumping ship next.

If Roc Nation were NOT involved in Canelo vs Cotto that fight sells over 1m PPVs and generates more money then the chavez fight. Cotto fight was successful but it was DESPITE Roc Nation. They left money on the table because they kept meddling and tying Golden Boy's hands. Chavez was a inferior fight but made significantly more money because Golden Boy knows what they doing and Roc Nation are a bunch of fools.
