wouldn't happen in a million years.

      1. Cotto wouldn't fight on an undercard, his pride won't let him

      2. Lemieux can barely make 160, Cotto would want it at 155 or so

I give Roc Nation until the end of this year I think they will bow out of boxing all together after realizing it is NO MONEY in boxing at the moment and they arrived in the sports probably 5 years too late missing out on the Mayweather vs Pacquiao ERA

Andre Ward is the only one left and honestly they haven't done much for his career as far as promoting! I think they're the lead promoters for Ward vs Kovalev II this time and I haven't seen ANY Promotion yet for that fight!

LOL. I have no horse in this race first off. Used to like Cotto, but he was never "the next Tito" for me & never anywhere close to as fun to watch + RNS seems like they are the rich guy who gets into a sport & don't really know wtf they are doing so never their biggest fan either. So this relationship ending early seems to make perfect sense I suppose.

I hope Cotto just retires as sh^tty as that might seem to him right now. And I hope RNS makes some better moves if they are going to continue in boxing as they clearly got the money to make a better impact then they've done thus far.

                  What makes you say that?

They actually got some decent prospects (Hernandez-Harrison, Arias, Rock + a couple others I'm not recalling at the moment). I think if they thought smaller they could grow into something meaningful down the road. But they signed up all of the best name players who no one really wanted lol. That probably tied their hands like a mofo. And they ended up with that house full of guys who showed you exactly why they aren't wanted by a whole lot of other promoters. I think if they stayed in the game these last couple years might be a great learning experience for them of what not to do.

There's plenty of money in boxing, these dopes couldn't promote their way our of a paper bag. They just had a bunch of hype because they signed up Cotto and Ward and then promptly did nothing to promote either..

Good assessment all-around. I get the impression that Roc Nation is like the wealthy guy who gets into motorcycles. He'll spend the money on a couple kick-ass bikes but doesn't want to get his hands dirty or go on any long runs. He just wants to "feel" like a biker.
