    Best boxer of all time

    Hello people I was just scrolling down here and I was wondering who do you all consider that would be the best boxer of all time and why?

      It depends on what you mean by "best boxer." Everybody eventually loses to somebody if they spend enough time fighting the best.

      Short answer: Sugar Ray Robinson. This is also the "correct" answer, the one most often given.

      But there's no one answer because not everybody means the same thing by "best boxer."

                Over 200 fights

                Beat the best of his era, some multiple times, won titles at Welterweight, Middleweight and almost Light Heavyweight if it wasn't for the scorching, taxing heat on that night in Yankee Stadium.


                The referee quit because he was suffering from the heat and a new referee had to come in for the fight. Robinson was up on the scorecards too, he was out boxing Joey Maxim. But the heat got to him and he couldn't continue.

                The man used to knock people out going backwards.

                There's only one Sugar Ray Robinson and there will never be another Sugar Ray Robinson
