I'm rooting for Brook, but I'm worried about any spillover effects the GGG fight may have had. That was a ****** fight for Hearn/team Brook to make.

I think Spence is massively overrated. But his power and strength at welterweight is certainly legit.

If Brook stays disciplined with his game plan, I can see him utilising his superior mobility and outboxing Spence by fighting on the backfoot and timing him. We haven't seen Spence against movers who can punch. If Spence tries throwing caution to the wind like he's facing another Algieri or Bundu he'll be in for a rude awakening.

And yeah I agree that Brook definitely proved his resilience in the GGG fight. There were questions over his chin after being wobbled by Senchenko and Jones, but he proved his got a chin and is tough as nails in the G fight.

Of brook wasn't the least bit confident of winning he'd simply vacate the title saying he's now too big for the weight after the GGG fight and hes moving up to super welterweight for bigger and better things.

This is what to you'd expect him to do, and he'd receive little backlash as it is true he is a big frame and just moved up

So it's not like he was backed into a corner here - he could have had plenty of options moving up and vacating

I meant when I checked odds a few weeks ago brook was like a -15O favorite and Spence was a +13O 'dog. In guessing a lot of late money on Spence came in with those odds so now they reflect your odds a bit more. Just showing how fast odds can change in these airight fights.

I never noticed him as a dog at any point on any sportsbook & I check odds all the time. So I'm looking to add a sportsbook to my sportsbook resume is why I'm asking basically. I like to see more ranges in my betting lines.

Ah yes I just reread what I wrote and it definitely sounded like I meant I recently saw Spence as a dog.

But it was weeks back when I did. I believe it was on odds checker or one of those sites that has a bunch of different odds to choose from.

And yeah brook was just the ever so slight favorite.

And it's like the second or third article from fightsaga. It talks about how Brook opened up as favorite but then Spence became favorite .

Why is it that people will be so surprised if Spence wins? Spence is clearly one of the best P4P fighters on the planet, far above the likes of Golovkin, with the only problem being that Spence has not fought too good opposition yet. He will beat Brook and he will do it easier than Golovkin did (Golovkin got uppercutted into a state of jellylegs, lol). Spence will spark out Brook, Pacquiao, basically any of the small guys. Even Thurman is scared of the kid. He did not want to fight him even if it made him a rich man (by giving him a Mayweather fight).

If he beats brook it'll be cuz ggg softened him up.

I'm a huge Spence fan and agree with some of the things you are saying. Let's wait with all those accolades, however, until he at least cleans out his division, a strong division in boxing now. Potential wise, definitely.

That's actually what I plan on doing after finals next week. Brook is a great fighter. Top 3 at WW. I just believe Spence is number 1. Hell I'll either look like a genius or a moron in about a week bro. You can get at me as much as you like if Spence loses lol, I'll take it on the chin.
