Why is it that people will be so surprised if Spence wins? Spence is clearly one of the best P4P fighters on the planet, far above the likes of Golovkin, with the only problem being that Spence has not fought too good opposition yet. He will beat Brook and he will do it easier than Golovkin did (Golovkin got uppercutted into a state of jellylegs, lol). Spence will spark out Brook, Pacquiao, basically any of the small guys. Even Thurman is scared of the kid. He did not want to fight him even if it made him a rich man (by giving him a Mayweather fight).
Spence: Why surprised?

"Clearly one of the best Pound for Pound" but "has not fought too good opposition yet". U do know that there has to be a correlation between those two statements before you can make that claim, and it just isn't there at the moment. Jeez, why can't you guys just let the boy earn his stripes. He is definitely on the right path and he appears to have the goods but still somewhat unproven at the top level. For the record, he has no clear advantage over Brooks that I can see other than being the fresher fighter. Brook is the seasoned and the more technical of the two and I for one think it is going to be an extremely hard fights for both. He is on the right path, let's see if he can take put Brook first and then go on to do other big things against those other guys you mentioned before we start making him one of the best pound for pound.Comment

I don't mind it
Spence had to face and beat better foes to warrant being top 10 p4p. That starts with BrookLast edited by SkillspayBills; 05-18-2017, 11:08 PM.Comment

He's more technically sound, faster, better combinations, better body work, better reflexes, and better defense. Much ado about nothing. Everything is all speculation about this fight. Anything can happen. Brook is no Bundu the same way Spence is no Bizier.
It's certainly not hard to pick one in a 50/50 fight. You have half the chance of getting it correctly.
If you're so sure, bet some money in it, instead of starting another thread.Comment

Spence isn't even in the convo regarding pound for pound . Even if he beats brook. He enters top twenty but not top ten.
Also the bookies have brook a very slight favorite but that could have changed since I saw it a few weeks ago. So nobody is gonna be surprised like you say it he wins. Except perhaps me because I think he's a very limited fighter with power and size only.
I think the fact he is so young allows him to cut such masive amounts of weightComment
