This morning people were complaining that Wilder was looking for the easy way out by fighting Stiverne.

I think you got it right here. Bellew wouldn't mind another pay day anyway. Even though it's a weak fight.

It would make a lot of sense financially for both. It would certainly be Wilder's biggest payday & he has the WBC belt to dangle. If Wilder can't get Parker or Joshua why wouldn't he go for the biggest payday? I don't think he will be too devastated by the boxingscene haters while he is counting a few million British pounds. Maybe he could get Klitschko since he is WBC #2 now. That would be another big check...

Joshua has a rematch clause with Klitschko and also an IBF mandatory due with Pulev. Not to mention that Luis Ortiz is thinking of suing him if he doesn't get his WBA title shot.

Great points! Wilder wants to fight but hasn't been able to. Not his fault that povetkin failed a drug test. Only people out there with any clout are klitschko, Joshua and Parker. Why fight anyone else?

its not known if wlad will actually go for the rematch right away. the wbc just gave him a # 2 ranking. all three guys you mentioned wont be able to fight joshua this year as he is only fighting 1 more time this year. wilder's manager could offer one of those guys a fight but as usual team bum squad wants to go through the path of least resistance.
