Then we need to have rules to force them to cooperate. Just like in the NFL, MLB, etc., the division Winners have to play each other in the playoffs.

So maybe we should have a rule that at least once Annually, in each weight class from minimumweight to HW, there is sort of a playoff system. 2 alphabet titlists Fight each other, in A Semifinal (just for an example, in alphabetical order, IBF vs WBA, & WBC vs WBO). Winners, of These Semifinals advance to A Final so we can have 1 Winner in each class. Simple, and clean. If the promoters dont want to cooperate, force them to cooperate.
In baseball, the Yankees don't get to decide that they dont want to cooperate with Cleveland and refuse to play the playoffs. The Patriots can't refuse to play the Colts in the NFL playoffs, if they Win their divisions (just an example). They have to do it. We should have something similar in Boxing.

Thanks brother! I've seen it happen. I was at A Local Watering Hole, and asked them to put on The Deontay Wilder/ GW Fight that was on Fox, on 1 of their TV's. A few dudes started gathering around, asking me about the Fighters, Etc.. They asked who was the champ, and I was trying to explain that Deontay was 1 of the 4 champs, and they couldnt understand what I was Talking about. They stuck around for the main event, but I pretty much lost their attention span when I started to try to explain this alphabet crap.

The thing is you have guys like DiBella and Tom Brown who won't work with those other guys as well and they fall within the PBC/Haymon umbrella

DiBella used to co-promote a lot of events with Arum. What happened?

And as for the comment about Ortiz-Wilder? What is so shocking about the idea that a company might not want to attempt to do business with someone they are suing for $300 million dollars? That doesnt strike me as odd. But that would only account for GBP. What about every other non-PBC promoter on the planet? You cant list a SINGLE INSTANCE in THREE YEARS of a credible non-PBC fighter fighting in a PBC main event.

but but but but golden boy doe
But they did business with him when it benefited them, Khan & Chavez Jr.

If other promoters are freezing out PBC is because PBC asked for it. I remember when Al would reserved a date and an arena then cancel just to mess with competitors, It's a dog eat dog business.

Personally I don't care what's going on as long as I get the matches I want.

indirectly, sure. They made the Khan fight through Khan's pops, and Haymon signed off on it. And they made the Chavez fight through Sean Gibbons, and Haymon signed off on it. They did not deal directly with Haymon, and they did not have their A-list fighter go fight on a Haymon event.

But you are making my point for me. ALL of these en****** (your beloved Haymon included), do what is in THEIR best interests. Period. End of story.

Lol then people wonder why boxing is dying in the states. Because the easiest things are difficult and nobody wants to hear about 4-5 different champions and all this network ****. Sad thing is i doubt we see a change soon
