You think theses ******ed boxing fans care about this. They're so ****** which is why boxing isn't what it used to be. UFC stacked the card against every boxer that fought a mma fighter. They've trashed and humiliated boxing for the last 5 yrs. You would think boxing fans would love for a MMA fighter to finally come over to boxing. Not to mention all the $ and promotion it will generate for boxing. Boxing has been infiltrated by nerds,trolls,and haters.

You can see the man is no boxer, Jeez, why would a boxing or MMA fan (they're not exclusive fanbases) want for a mismatch? It's a money grab from those who don't follow either but know the names.

Who does Floyd fight that makes him as much money as Conor + is as easy a W as Conor will likely be? I'd say no one. That right there gives Conor/The UFC some amount of leverage in this discussion.

I mean its not like Floyd should not wanna bend millions of dollars Conor's/The UFC's way to get $100M+ in his own pocket right?

I know people think Floyd is some egomaniac or whatever cuz his "character" Money Mayweather is an egomaniac, but I think Floyd is smart enough to realize that there is a TON of easy money to made here for both himself & Conor/The UFC & it'd be a lil f#cking ****** on his part to f#ck up $100M+ in his own pocket to argue over $10M, $25M or whatever sum of money or some other random sh^t that could be argued over that will barely put a dent in his pile of money for this fight.

Floyd doesn't need to fight again, he has made his money. Plus there are a ton of guys he could fight without Connor where he could make a ton of money as he would control everything. With McGregor he would have to give up more than he normally would to make the fight.
Connor can only make so much on his UFC contract as he doesn't call the shots there as White and UFC run everything. Plus he only has a few years left in his prime as these UFC guys get old overnight with the punishment they take each fight.
Floyd is a guy that will make sure he has every advantage, especially now as a loss would hurt his long term marketability.

I'm sure Canelo II, Manny II, maybe a Thurman fight & maybe Spence in another couple years if he's as good as people say could earn him a ton of money, but Conor is in the mainstream publics mind like few others & certainly more than the guys I've just listed. But those are all harder fights that at best make him equal money & I'd suggest less money.

With McGregor he would have to give up more than he normally would to make the fight.

No idea what Conor's UFC situation has to do with Floyd at this point. Floyd should only care about his money & he can make $100M+ & maybe more than he made vs Manny for probably his easiest fight since Henry Brusles or Sharmba Mitchell.

Floyd doesn't need marketability anymore. He's retired. And if he takes this fight it'll be a one & done situation. Does it hurt Mayweather Promotions marketability? I mean maybe. But I mean he's a guy with domestic abuse on his criminal record & has all sorts of tirades over slave contracts, beefs with old announcers & tv hosts & all sorts of goofy sh^t. If Floyd hasn't destroyed his rep already idk that anything that could happen vs Conor could do it.

And Floyd took disadvantages when he needed to vs the bigger names. To get the ODLH fight he took the B side across the board. At WORST this fight would be his 2nd biggest payday & probably be his easiest fight since he started fighting world class opponents in 1998.

I just don't see why he wouldn't back off a reasonable amount to make that fight if it got to that point. Like if there is a $25M difference deal breaker I think you play hardball for a day or two to try to get the other side to bend or throw in something to give & take, but ultimately his overall upside is gonna be nice enough he could set $25M more on fire after giving up $25M & still be sitting on his 2nd best payday ever worst case.

lol Floyds fight before the berto fight probably did more than all connors fights combined. Floyd can go fight a decent fighter and get more money than connor gets fighting a top foe. anyone that thinks this should be a 50/50 fight is delusional. connor took time off from ufc and ufc grew bigger. Floyd retired from boxing and boxing took a step backward. Floyd's name gets used to promote fights, connors name only gets used when he is fighting there is a HUGE difference bub.
