Do WME-IMG & Conor even have some sort of personal relationship yet? Last I heard Conor was saying he'd never met any of those guys 6ish months ago or barely met them just a month or three ago. That changed? They signed him to a management deal or something like Ronda was pre-UFC purchase?

But for sure they have a vested interest in their biggest PPV seller at the moment.

Idk about any post-MMA movie career for Conor if that's what you are suggesting. Can Conor even act? Wrestlers (who are already acting) seem to transition over to acting better than actual competitive athletes have historical I think so good luck to them if that's their master plan with Conor.

Personally I just think they are trying to parlay Conor's name into more mainstream sports minds to transition them over to the UFC not even to Conor specifically. The UFC grinds the f#ck outta athletes & Conor's time at the top is nearly over most likely (he'll still sell PPV's don't get it twisted)...he's just money grabbing better than any UFC guy in the history of the UFC or MMA in general.
Conor is a liar lol just check out the Eddie Alvarez weigh in. They stood behind him, and walked out when he did. Looked very chummy to me. These guys are experts at talent management. They're likely the reason he's been talking all of this big money ****. Ari has a way of empowering his talent.

Probably told Conor he can get him to that Tyson, Mayweather level culturally. I actually think that's where all of this came from.

They've done remarkable things with their clients' brands over the years. The most recent example is Dwayne Johnson. I think they're going to try and make Conor the next Jason Statham type action star/personality. He's so young.

You think theses ******ed boxing fans care about this. They're so ****** which is why boxing isn't what it used to be. UFC stacked the card against every boxer that fought a mma fighter. They've trashed and humiliated boxing for the last 5 yrs. You would think boxing fans would love for a MMA fighter to finally come over to boxing. Not to mention all the $ and promotion it will generate for boxing. Boxing has been infiltrated by nerds, trolls, and haters.

how is paying Floyd 100 million and connor 75 million fair? connor has never pulled anywhere near Floyd's ppv numbers. Dana has never had to "negotiate" with anyone before. he tells them what they get paid. and he keeps the lions share of the money. Floyd truly understands the financial side of the fight game and knows what he brings to the table. dana is about to get a lesson in two-way negotiations.

The Rock has a wrestling background. That basically pre-acting. Conor has been punching mfers in the face & getting punched in the face...for real lol.

I got serious doubts that Ari or anyone else can make Conor into the next Rock. I got serious doubts Conor can even become a solid actor.

Fair enough if WME-IMG are selling & Conor is buying, but I'd bet against Conor ever starring in a movie that cost more than $20M to make (which isn't a lot in the movie industry despite sounding like a lot) or grossing $100M.

I think Conor gots years in the fight game probably & when he gets out of it he'll be beat up all to hell like everyone else is & just wanna sit the f#ck down lol or he'll get out early if he's just money grabbing & going & maybe try to drum up some interest in the Euro MMA world with his own promotion or get a gig inside the UFC doing the same or something else. Hell he might already have a gig with the UFC outside of fighting coaching mfers on attracting attention cuz everyone at the Summer presser was doing there best Conor impersonation it seemed like even to the point of getting into a fight & kicked out of the presser.

LOL solid point. But I mean how many cats of whatever popularity in competitive sports crossed over to big success in movies? And then boxing guys specifically?

I think Tex Cobb might be the most notable guy from recent eras & he was strictly a character actor who I don't recall ever having a starring role. Outside of that everything has been a one off situation like Tommy Morrison & Antonio Tarver having headlining roles in the Rocky series. Ronda has most recently parlayed fighting into acting but rumor has it a whole production got shutdown cuz she can't act & her speaking parts in the movies out already have been minimal.

I don't think its an easy transition or one that is made successfully to any respectable headlining level status very often if at all in recent decades.

                      Floyd's last PPV: 550K, McGregor's last PPV: 1.2M....

He's more popular than Floyd now and will get 50/50 or no fight.
