Junior is a terrible disgrace to the true Mexican Warriors... hopefully they will not replace the check that was stolen ...I did read though it wasn't his entire purse from the fight it was only an initial payment still I hope he doesn't see a dime, doesn't deserve it...

This is why I don't watch weightclasses lower than heavyweight. Boxing already has too many weight classes & then add all the catch weight crap & the sport becomes a joke. I'd rather watch Arreola vs Saul Montana at the taco bar than pay $70 to watch a couple 164lbs weight drained fighters.

I don't see what was so "pathetic" about Jr's performance. He's a C level fighter that got outclassed by as much better fighter. This was not a big fight, it was a big event. There's a difference. And anybody that expected anything different from what they saw DKSAB.

That's too bad. You've been missing out on a lot of great fights and on a lot of supremely skilled fighters.

So you're not going to watch Golovkin vs Canelo in September?

Yep. Honestly, the more educated a person becomes as a fight fan, generally their attitude flips. They appreciated the skill level at the lower weights. And heavyweight boxing becomes harder to watch.

GGG would have put Junior in his grave where he belongs.

It sucks that this turned out to biggest Mexican vs Mexican event because there were much more deserving fights involving Mexicans. Obviously Barrera vs morales, barrera vs Marquez, Vasquez vs Marquez, vargas vs salido even Mexican Americans delahoya vs vargas all provided great entertainment. Meanwhile this lame fight that wasn't even telefutura quality generated the biggest numbers. Kind of speaks to how easy it is to sucker in boxing fans with the right promotion.
