Where would David Tua rank in Today's Heavy Weight Division

Prime David Tua is probably the most underrated HW boxer ever. The man had good footwork, hand speed, and power. In today's heavyweight Division I think it would go.

    Joshua
    Tua
    Fury
    Wilder
    Parker

Can't see him getting near Fury. He'd have trouble with the reach of all these guys, like he did Lewis and Rahman.

Didn't Tua knock Rahman out in their 1st fight, 2nd fight was a draw.

Fury and Tua would be a freak show. Fury 6'9" and Tua 5' 10" Lol

But hey, Tua can always pound the mid section like a heavy bag, Lol.

But seriously a prime David Tua would be among the top 3 to 5 imo.

He would have some trouble with the reach and height of some of those guys. But I think he would still hold his own. I can't remember a chin as tough as Tua's at heavyweight.

But yeah I think a prime Tua would be top 3 or 5 at Heavyweight today. And he would definitely be dangerous for anyone because of his punch resistance and punching power.

He's top 5 certainly. He'd have trouble with Joshua, Klitschko and 2015 Fury. I think he's a favorite against anyone else right now.

A prime, hungry, inshape & motivated Tua would most likely knock all these bum's out.

              so No.1 imo.

Tua had trouble with tall guys with a stiff jab. He was a homerun hitter. He was losing on the scorecards in many fights only to bail himself out with a big KO. He beat 4 former world champions by knockout. Nobody was lining up to fight him so his losses to Lennox & Byrd were huge. His own worst enemy. He was out of shape against Lennox but the Byrd loss in the IBF eliminator was the real killer. If he won that fight he would have got to fight a washed up Holyfield for the title. Don King kept Ruiz far away from Tua. At the end Cedric Kushner told Tua not to take the Barrett rematch as he had a title shot lined up with Vitali Klitschko but he insisted & the rest is history. Tua would have problems with Wilder, Klitschko, Joshua & Fury. He would be in the top 10 if he was prime.

Rahman was winning the fight & Tua hooked him after the bell & then the stoppage was pretty bad as Rahman was throwing punches & wasn't hurt. The ref during the interview after (Telis Assominias or whatever his name was) admitted to jumping the gun & stopping it early. The 2nd fight Rahman should have won. He got up to 260 for the fight & said before he wanted the extra weight to take that hook better. It worked & he threw 80 punches a round. It wasn't lopsided but Rahman should have got the nod. The WBC thought so to because they gave Rahman a shot at the title...

Could see him catching Wilder or outworking Parker. Not much chance against the others.
