would be a nice way to retire. lemmy is open for just about everything and cotto is still crafty enough to avoid some bombs.

I wouldn't mind seeing him against Andy Lee. Both guys are weak defenders who throw bombs. Should be a fun fight while it lasted.

I know Cotto has never ducked a challenge, but at this advanced stage of his career, I'm not sure he wants that kind of work.

He'll position himself intelligently, get off first, counter easily. Has anyone noticed how bad Lemieux looked against low-level fighters in 2 of his last 3 fights?
Lemieux has a high work rate and is very explosive. Cotto has no chance against him, particularly at this stage in his career.

Cotto would never fight Lemieux, even though I think he could beat him.

Cotto beats Lemieux? I wish it would happen, but then again I always wish it would rain beer on Saturday...not going to happen.

That would be a good fight.

But you know Cotto would have all sorts of weight bs that'd f#ck it up from happening. And if Davey came in over at the weigh in I got zero doubt Cotto would call off the fight & not care one bit about it like I suspect many fighters would.
