Cotto is old but he's still got enough left to handle Lemieux. DL's such a plodding mess. He requires an opponent to trade with him. Cotto isn't going to do that. He'll position himself intelligently, get off first, counter easily. Has anyone noticed how bad Lemieux looked against low-level fighters in 2 of his last 3 fights?

Cotto doesnt fight the full 160 so he will ask for some 155,56 catch weight. Lemioux can barely make 160 anymore.

Please no. If David makes whatever weight cotto would likely impose and doesn't lose too much power, he kills cotto. No way Miguel takes that power

Cotto beats Lemiuex. Perfect style for Cotto to feast on.

A guy with a jab that is notorious for looking like a power punch vs a guy with no jab?

Cotto by mid to late round stoppage.

            You get it.

@ people getting amnesia that Lemiuex has no jab, looked horrible vs Alcine, Rubio and GGG, and looked mediocre vs Reyes in his latest fight. I want this guy to get in the ring with Canelo or Cotto so people can see, maybe he's decent, but just not at THAT level.

Lemiuex's manager claims Lemiuex is more popular than Arturo Gatti at the end of the article. Lol I don't think he really knows how popular Gatti was. His popularity got him in the HOF. Gatti also fought the likes De La Hoya, Mayweather, Ruelas, Ward trilogy, and Leija.

In a normal world yes, but Cotto is a rapidly aging inactive fighter. His legs might not hold up well and if he get trapped on the ropes it could get ugly.
