Looks like RNS is having trouble securing a TV network to broadcast.

If HBO doesn't work or Showtime then place it on a non-premium network channel. I remember when RNS broadcast one of Ward's fights on the BET channel. They can try one of those channels.

SMH get things together RNS, it's amateur hour with you guys.

At this stage in his career, the only fight I'm interested in seeing is Cotto/Margarito III. Both are shells of their former selves but it would still be interesting.

            That's not a bad idea.

kamegai doesnt have great boxing skills but he's pretty much like the asian version of margarito. great stamina, come forward and throw lots of punches, and can take a punch too!

this is the type of style that cotto has problems with, not no james kirkland. cotto would have ko/tko kirkland if they fought.
I generally agree - if I were a betting man, I would have put money on Cotto to knock Kirkland out. That said, I do think that, because of the size difference, Kirkland could have presented serious risks early in the fight. True - once Canelo landed a punch, Kirkland was lost. It was almost funny to watch. But Canelo had to withstand some intense, if undisciplined, pressure before landing that shot. He was able to do so...but he's a lot bigger than Cotto.

I get what you're saying re: the similarities between Kamegai and Margarito...but I can't imagine Kamegai having a chin quite as good as Margarito's. I'm no fan of Marg's (though I was before Jan 2009), but his chin was beyond exceptional at his best. I don't think Kamegai will be able to withstand Cotto's power.

I say Cotto in 8 by corner stoppage due to the rearrangement of Kamegai's face.

Still no word on this fight after Perez said that by Tuesday there would be word and the 24th of June is about a month away and beginning of July a little over a month away. I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed out again even further or cancelled.

Cotto's career is becoming comical now. If they continue postponing or can't get a fight made. Maybe he should just retire already. This whole process is annoying and exhausting.

I knew it. When no one word came out by Tuesday as Bryan Perez said it would. I knew something was up.
I knew it would get cancelled or something. But now Cotto just parted ways with Roc Nation.

It's getting comical but it's annoying and frustrating.

If Cotto wants to continue his career he should just fight one more time and retire.

I'm done with the B.S. of all the names, floating around, postponements, etc...

If you're going to fight Cotto fight, if not then just retire. Enough already.
