nice sig picture....cept ward is avenging his win over kovalev you gimp...the joke is on you...why bother typing when no one can take you seriously anyway?End of thread right here!
Gamboa had a year and 3 months absence and he came back to fight Crawford, it goes to show you how privileged Andre Ward really is.
It's like these idiots say, "Great people take risks" well, where was the risk that Ward took?
He made all of you wait like idiots drooling at your god damn screen waiting for him to fight a live body and as soon as he did fight someone half decent i.e Sullivan Barrera he got beat up and took another dodgy decision similar to the Kovalev one.
This American privilege of being more beat up and damage = you winning really does confuse me, the bias from you lot is really funny you lot are too blind to see it!Comment

Of course he took step aside money. There was no way in hell that Cotto or Canelo were going to fight him at that time so why not take the money? At that time Ward was completely done with 168 and GGG would have had to spot Ward 15 pounds. You know this but your are trying to make Ward look good and GGG look bad. You say GGG knew he would lose so he ducked. That's BS. The fight would have to have been at 175 as Ward had clearly stated he was done with 168. You can't duck someone who fights 2 weight classes above your weight class. Ward isn't even a big money fight and yet you expect GGG to drop his plans and give Ward everything he wants. GGG knew he would lose? How do you know that? Can you read his mind?Waiting for the WBC to mandate? The fight was mandated before Cotto-Canelo was signed, Golovkin took step aside money. The fight was mandated before Canelo fought Khan, Golovkin took step aside money. Golovkin could have fought Ward and the fight would have still been there after. He knew he'd lose and ducked.Comment

The fight would have been at 168. You said he knew Cotto/Canelo wouldn't fight him so why not fight Ward at 168? He was looking to fight others at 168. Behind Cotto/Canelo Ward was the biggest fight available. Golovkin ducked.Of course he took step aside money. Why not? That's the best use for a cw...so champions from 2 different divisions can face eachother.Nobody takes the 164 offer serious. What Cobra is saying is they never officially made the offer to Ward only mentioned it in the media.
In fact it's a low for Golovkin, he was willing to fight others at 168. You're trying to turn it in to a positive and it's not going to work, it was a bitch move and not a serious offer.
Stand by for..."ggg said 168 for other opponents tho"...honestly aside from all the rhetoric, what's wrong with meeting in the middle?
It's cool for ward to face dawson at 168...full credit.Comment
