Totally disagree. And I'm not just a GGG fan trying to pump up that win.

I just really, really like Danny Jacobs, man.

I think the guy is criminally underrated. Danny's one got caught slipping shot from Pirog and a questionable decision away from being 34-0 with a KO percentage north of 85%.

Has canelo proved his skills by beating that line up of fighters?

Stops them all I reckon. Possible that Jr would have quit before he was stopped.

How is Lara a better "win"? It was an extremely controversial decision.

Canelo Lara was a 100 times more controversial than Golovkin Jacobs. Canelo never knocked Lara down, never had him in trouble and got out punched by Lara by about 10 punches. Jacobs v. either of those guys would be a mismatch of at least 20 pounds, Jacobs kills either of them.

                thats fantasy territory for ggg...

He would have slaughtered them all in half the time it took Canelo, but Canelo's improvements are legit. Just like Golovkin is on P4P list because he passes the eye test, Canelo also passes the eye test. His style will never look great against mobile fighters like Lara and Floyd, but he's a very good, constantly improving fighter. From physique, to stamina, to reflexes, to power, Canelo at 26 is a much better fighter than he was 2 years ago.

Chavez gets stopped in the late rounds, Smith, Kirkland, Khan all get KO'd in mid-rounds. Chavez himself said that GGG hits harder.

Canelo beats Lemieux by UD, not sure about Jacobs, that fight could go either way.

Canelo has improved a hell of a lot and he continues to improve with every fight. Canelo has proven his skills against good opposition. Canelo vs GGG is a close match but GGG is still an 8 to 5 betting favorite to beat him. GGG would has no problem knocking out all of Khan's opponents in my opinion. I see the fights between GGG and Canelo's opponents going like this. GGG dominates and KO's Cotto within 8 rounds just as Canelo would do that to Cotto in a rematch. GGG KOs Kirkland within 2 rounds, Smith within 5 rounds, Chavez within 5 rounds and Khan within 2 rounds. GGG has a great left jab and much more reach and that makes Khan very easy work. Kirkland likes to trade power punches from the opening bell and that is suicide against GGG. Chavez is a walking punching bag and can't take GGG's power for long. GGG would go for the kill.
