It all comes down to this, imo...

Who's making excuses? I predict GGG will Lemuiex Canelo with the jab. And 35 is older for boxing. Unless you think all fighters reach their peak around 35 or maybe you just think GGG does for some reason. No doubt age will of course be a factor. But I would still say GGG owns Canelo even at his age.

If Kovalev beats Ward, then he is #1. If Golovkin beats Canelo, then he takes over as #1. If both Kovalev and GGG lose, then Lomachenko is #1.

          P4p done the white way...

how do you know if Canelo is at his peak or not? Fighters peak and decline all at different ages. Why don't you see when guys like Tyson, Benitez and Fernando vargas peaked and then on the other end comparing to when Bernard Hopkins or Lennox Lewis peaked. As far as Canelo beating ggg easily, what excuse will you have if the exact opposite happens??

Lol!!! U got jokes. And if Canelo wins all his followers will jump ship and declare their fake loyalty to Lomachenko.

It will be interesting to see if he becomes truly great. It is fascinating to see how greatness demands great challenges. The recent Joshua Klitschko matchup was an example of one fight exalting both men. Canelo needs GGG. And GGG needs Canelo. For GGG it is toward the end of his career. For Canelo the beginning, so even a loss (if a Joshua Klitscho type loss) will only build him. If this fight lives up to expectations, and I think it will, it's a win win.
For starters Oscar is not ever right....and P4P King right now is Andre "S.O.G." Ward.

Andre Ward is the P4P King right now.
