Who ever puts obvious the best performance between Ward, Kova, Golovkin, and Canelo within the next few months is the clear P4P fighter.

lmao... just one source. p4p is like politics and religion. Always debatable and you can't ever be Right/wrong

Pound for pound lists are popularity contests for boxing snobs. Garcia and Thurman should be on those lists.

OK. I can see an undefeated Ward @ #1, Canelo #2, then Crawford and Loma.

The real reasons Canelo is taking the fight are money and pride. People who think Canelo is afraid of GGG should expect to see him fight like he is runnng a marathon like Erislandy Lara did when they fought or refuse to engage like Chavez Jr. did last week. I don't think he will do that. I am beginning to think that if GGG does not put a serious hurt on him early, Canelo has a great chance to win the fight.

The difference will be the tough task GGG faced in Jacob in his last outing as opposed to the exhibition Saul initiated.
Alvarez never battled a true, powerful middleweight at the appropriate 160. He's going to come up short.

Of course there is Oscar. First off P4P is some mythical completely subjective bs. And secondly Canelo won't be the only guy in boxing who's beat the #1 guy in his division after several beating several bs fighters has of late. That Thailand cat just did that to Roman Gonzalez for just one example. Is he P4P #1 right now for that W? Should he be?

Canelo is faster better counter puncher, has better boxing abilities, and i think he has enough to handle GGG's power in terms of defense. Canelo late stoppage or decision

To some extent P4P lists are popularity contests. There's also no set criteria. Some folks place more weight on achievement. Some place more on whom they think would win a head-2-head fight in a weight indifferent world. Some place more weight on recent resume. I'm not a big P4P list guy. But when I try and put a list together, which is rare, I try and incorporate both. My eye test tells me either Crawford or Lomachenko is the top guy. When I look at recent resume and overall achievement, Ward takes #1. Ward takes #1 on my list because he's still performing at a high level. But its very debatable. Floyd was the last clear cut P4P King. And to me, there's a difference between a P4P King and a guy holding down the #1 spot due to default. Which whomever you have #1 is doing to some extent.

As for Thurman and Garcia. I guess an argument could be made that one or both should be on the list. But personally, neither guy passes my eye test. Neither of those guys look like what I know to be an elite fighter. So its difficult for me even to start evaluating them.

IF he beats Golovkin, heīs number one P4P.

Thatīs a very big if, he wonīt make it. Oscar is daydreaming too much.
