Khan against Danny Garcia who is a counterpuncher landed 40% of his jabs against danny. and was on a pace of 5X the amount of jabs landed per round then he did against Canelo. Khan's problem is defensive but he's very skilled and one of his primary weapons is the jab. He landed so few at a horrible clip because Canelo took that punch away from him. He was on pace to set career lows in connect and percent landing that punch fighting Canelo. All the guys I mentioned and showed the stats were basically had career worst production using the jab when they fought Canelo. Is this a coincidence? No his defense, head movement, countering is why. Canelo's defense is just superior to GGG. One of his best attributes is avoiding the jab.

GGG use distances very well. his arms are longer than stated as many here have speculated which is why he has so much success jabbing.

The reach measurement is not always accurate either. They measure it from the back and canelo having a wide back and stocky built makes his reach longer than it really is. Ggg is more narrow so that's why the reach seems even on paper but it's not. GGG'S arms are much longer than canelo's.

Golovkin has more skills, but more doesnt mean better. Golovkin does have a better jab and footwork, canelo is skilled himself, mainly with feints but his main asset is his speed which lends to a more flashier style and also contributes to his upperbody movement. Shame about his feet.

This fight will be exciting, canelo always starts out fast, golovkin will likely be more defensive, just jabbing the first and second rd until he sees a lapse in canelo and pounces (if he doesnt have a sht gameplan)
