GBP digging there grave with this no rematch clause and the re-hydration weight gimmick BS. Golovkin will be on kill mode for this one and Canelo is the shorter man with shorter punches with less power and less footwork and will be weaker if he tries to lose a ton of weight. The only chance is if Golovkin wants a rematch to and lets him live i.e. THROWS THE FIGHT for more easy paydays in fight 2 and 3. Golovkin has also fought much better opposition as of late with Canelo cherry picking garbage.

Nothing wrong with being a smart negotiator for a fight. And for all we know (so far), GGG may not have pushed for a rematch. It would be sharp though, for him to get reckless and expose himself even more than he already does. GB's negotiation tactics could conceivably end up giving us a real war. I'm all for it.

It's pretty standard, lots of promoters don't like offering up a rematch option because it ties their fighter up for services longer than they want. Almost every Top Rank opponent gets tied into a co-promotion duties for a fight or two extra. It's called "pick up option" its one of the reasons Chavez Jr shhtted all over Arum and why even a Lomancheko vs Garcia fight would be a nightmare to negotiate.

F Oscar for the politics, F Conyellow for letting his promoter do that, F GGG for saying anyone from 154 to 168 but avoiding ward, and F any "boxing fan" that condones BULLSHT politics over 2 warriors actually FIGHTING!

So over rated he easily beat porter in porters home town. A fighter that gave thurman all he could handle.

The key to victory for GGG is gonna be his jab and body shots mark my words
                I agree with that.
