Tyson Fury to attend Anti-Doping hearing

Enigmatic heavyweight Tyson Fury is already in training for what he hopes will be a July 8 return but his future literally hangs in the balance at a U.K. Anti-Doping hearing today.

Fury, who currently holds the RING heavyweight championship, defeated Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 but the Englishman has been embroiled in a series of drug and mental health issues ever since.

Due to the serious nature of Fury’s situation, the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) revoked his license last October, while U.K.A.D. conducted their investigation.

Today, Fury and his legal team will have the opportunity to present their case and the unbeaten 28-year-old seems confident that he’ll be back in action.

“Eddie Hearn has already booked Wembley Stadium for (an Anthony Joshua fight) next April,” said Fury in an interview with the Daily Telegraph in the U.K. “There isn’t another stadium where it should take place. I would fight Joshua in October but I believe Klitschko will take the rematch.

“Deep down, I don’t think they want to fight me yet. Joshua struggled with Klitschko. And I took Klitschko to school, toyed with him, put my hands behind my back, literally, while he was letting his cannons go, slipping out of the way of them. They are not ready for that.”

Joshua defeated Klitschko via 11th-round stoppage on April 29.

Wow. They're having the hearing already? Only two years after the initial offence.

Innocent until proven guilty. Of course if Fury was one of "your people" i suppose you'd back him all the way.

Drug addicts should not be rewarded with multi-million dollar paydays, permitting this fraud to return would only encourage others to cheat and abandon any responsibility they have to the sport and fans.

Tyson Fury should be punished for the poor current state of the HW division : thanks to this cheat, Charles Martin, Anthony Joshua, and Joseph Parker can call themselves 'Champ' -- disgraceful.

In that case, nor should woman beaters. Taking drugs is a victim-less crime. Beating women isn't.

Heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder was arrested and released in Las Vegas this past Saturday, charged with domestic battery.

If there's any truth to the nandrolene rumor then he's the definition of a cheater and a fraud. I can't stand hypocrites. Fury been accusing everyone being cheaters and now it looks like he could be the REAL cheater.
