After Tarver losses to Hopkins on June 10th, Tarver will be known as over rated. He already is over hyped, IMO.

watch his first fight with eric harding, tarver completely melts down under pressure in the last 2 rounds. he goes down out of panic in the 11th and then doesent land a single punch in the 12th. tarver is a great frontrunner, but hopkins is going to break his will in this fight.

When it comes to Tarver, this forum is full of cry baby bitches. All I hear is waahh wahh waahh Tarver knocked out my boy or waah waah Tarver talks too much. Get over it. Tarver is the man right now. Give him credit and stop hating on him for kicking Roy's overrated ass three times.

How do you see this fight ending? Hopkins knocks out Tarver, or just a 12 round win for Hopkins.

I see a KO, I want to see Tarver fall to the ground and lose this fight early.

Tarver has the worst late-round stamina ... he almost punched himself unconcious against Roy Jones in their 3rd fight, and he'd barely thrown any punches. To me, if Hopkins can handle him for the first 8 rounds, and win at least 3, he has a good chance of beating Tarver by winning the late rounds. Tarver's horrible stamina is perfect for Hopkins, who's workrate has dropped significantly.

Tarver is a good fighter, no doubt. But to be great, he's gonna have to do a bit more. He can start by beating Hopkins. He wants to be known as the legend killer because he beat one good fighter, after losing his first match to him ... if that's all it takes, then Buster Douglas holds the title of Legend Killer and Tarver is still in 2nd place at best.

I was gonna say something, but it was extremely harsh and had to do with Tarver being seriously injured. Anyways I hope Bernard wins.

Tarver is a pretty good counter puncher, but Hopkins is by far the better technical fighter, I think. Hopkins has pretty fast hands, even though his workrate has dropped quite a bit. I hope Hopkins keeps more of that speed, and can take a lot of early rounds on points and then break Tarver down late. If he can get Tarver pushing the fight more in the later rounds, Hopkins will take him. Tarver doesn't have the stamina to be the aggressor and steal the late rounds in a close fight.
