Did BBB side get his percentage he was seeking or was it a flat fee.
I think it was a nice guarantee plus upside as long as the fight hits certain numbers.

Of course bombing ppvs and almost losing to Jacobs made GGG camp realize they are the clear B side and they need to cash out now. They also had pressure of a short window to agree because like I said earlier their stock has fallen and if you wait until the canelo/chavez numbers come back you golden boy will have more amo to lower the offer. I bet they are getting far less then the offer golden boy made months ago for 15m which GGG camp foolishly turned down. They banked on GGG being able to rise his stock and demand more money to fight canelo. But they sobered up to reality when jacobs numbers came and they stopped pricing themselves out.

I bet the negotiations went this way now, here is what we will offer you take it or leave it? Your fights dont make miney quote numbers from jacobs, You have no other fight options, you lost Saunders, you can't make more then we offering fighting anyone else and if you don't take it we are giving lemieux the fight and we will continue to make a loads of money without.

When you negotiating with the A side and saying 8 digit offers are not enough and your dumb azz fighter the week of is saying he wants a 50/50 deal and your ppv only sells 110-160k buys yes it's a bomb. Especially when the A side has a fight after you that will do around 1m buys. Yes jacobs bombed and yes it was ****** for them not to agree BEFORE those numbers came out. Even Oscar said they were taking the offer off the table due to the numbers GGG drawed against jacobs and giving a new offer based on GGG current market value. That fight was used against GGG by golden boy.
