GGG wants his legacy fight to be a WAR, toe to toe brutal mexican slugfest to give the Mexicans and Fans all around the world a real fight. GGG will test Canelos power and if he needs, he will march him down and goes full seek and destroy mode. I have a feeling that Canelo might be saved by his corner, Cheppo Reynoso might jump into the ring to save the golden goose or he might quit in his corner.

If he can win the war of jabs that will be a big advantage, then he needs to do good work whenever Canelo is on the ropes while avoiding counters. Won't be easy but there's a clear gameplan

Against Lemieux and Jacobs Golovkin has clearly demonstrated that he doesn't mind fighting cautiously if he perceives his opponent to be a threat. I very much doubt he employs the Brook gameplan against a big, sharp puncher like Canelo

There is nothing outstanding about 5'7 Canelito

Canelo is not a sharp puncher...His accuracy sucks....he throws 10 to land 1.

            That ain't sharp..

I don't think GGG is in over his head one bit. He will probably focus on the body and try to stop Canelo once he slows him down. I expect who ever establishes their jab first to have the better chance of winning as well.

The jab. He's got longer arms, he's taller, and he's got a more powerful jab. He controls Canelo with the jab, backing him up, and then he goes to work.

Canelo is a great counter-puncher so Golovkin's gonna get touched up but he's gotta put his foot on the gas and break Canelo down.

                It's a great fight.

Brook didn't really counter ggg, he pushed the action and pounced on him, which was the gameplan I hoped for...sadly he wasn't strong enough or brave enough to carry it in.

I don't think canelo will fight like that.

Canelo has become a really good counter puncher and his hand speed has improved. But can he do it while ggg is jabbing him hard and landing hard straights and hooks?
